A UNIQUE PAPER CITY
Antonin Langweil

Self-portrait from 1830 , gouache on ivory, National Museum of Prague
; Langweil Anthony ( 13 June 1791 Postoloprty - 11 June 1837 Prague ) was a creator paper model of Prague made-in the years 1826 - 1837 , which shows the historical part of the city, including neighborhoods destroyed by redevelopment in the late 19th and 20th century . The model is known as Langweil model of Prague .
A few years ago during his walks in the vicinity of Prague's finest prospects I thought: How nice it would have to be this sublime city in a small model! This idea I was engaged in a long time, but the choice of material for making the model seemed very difficult. After many failed attempts I gave up the idea slowly. Even in successive views of Prague from Petrin Hill, which is the most convenient place where you can overlook the whole city, I was glad I had not done a great job. This idea but not entirely forgotten, just dozing in my subconscious, awoke again in 1826 and I immediately proceeded to implement it. The reason for this sudden initiative in Prague was exposed relief of Paris. He gave me courage to try and create something similar, or perhaps even better. To read on click HERE.

The Book: I Discovered in my Father Wardrobe.

Seven Laws of Success. Herbert W. Armstrong (31 July 1892 - 16 January 1986) founded the Worldwide Church of God in the late 1930s, as well as Ambassador College (later Ambassador University) in 1946, and was an early pioneer of radio and tele-evangelism, originally taking to the airwaves in the 1930s from Eugene, Oregon. Armstrong preached an eclectic set of theological doctrines and teachings that he claimed came directly from the Bible. [2] These theological doctrines and teachings have been referred to as Armstrongism. His teachings included the interpretation of biblical prophecy in light of British Israelism,[3] and required observance of parts of the covenant Law including seventh-day Sabbath, dietary prohibitions, and the covenant law "Holy Days". Armstrong proclaimed that world events during his lifespan loomed various Biblical prophecies, and that he was called by God as an 'Apostle' and end-time 'Elijah' to proclaim the Gospel of God's Kingd...

J.P.Morgan.How He Used His Time,Energy,Money: To Control Nation.

J.P. Morgan was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut to Junius Spencer Morgan (1813–1890) and Juliet Pierpont (1816–1884) of Boston, Massachusetts . Pierpont, as he preferred to be known, had a varied education due in part to interference by his father, Junius. In the fall of 1848, Pierpont transferred to the Hartford Public School and then to the Episcopal Academy in Cheshire , Connecticut (now called Cheshire Academy ), boarding with the principal. In September 1851, Morgan passed the entrance exam for the English High School of Boston , a school specializing in mathematics to prepare young men for careers in commerce. In the spring of 1852, illness that was to become more common as his life progressed struck; rheumatic fever left him in so much pain that he could not walk. Junius sent Pierpont to the Azores (Portuguese islands in the Atlantic) in order for him to recover. After convalescing for almost a year, Pierpont returned to the English High School in Boston to...
